Well, June is here again... you know, the month of June is pretty significant, at least for me. On the 2nd is my parents' anniversary, then the 7th is my mom's birthday, and Father's Day is in a couple weeks, and my birthday is on the last day of June; the 30th. I'll also celebrate one month of living here in Fort Lauderdale sometime next week, I guess. It feels like I just arrived.

I like it here so much! I miss my friends from school a lot, but I'm glad I came here. I also miss my brother... check out his site. I'm gonna have to work out some way for Misha to visit me. That's one more reason to get a larger apartment; this one's barely big enough for Donny and I to breathe in. We saw a really cute place yesterday... our landlady is fixing up a little place with a loft down the street. She promised it to a guy, but she says that the guy isn't sure if he's going to move in or not. If the guy decides he doesn't want the place, we're next in line, I think. The guy really needs to move somewhere else and let us have it; the place has a little spiral staircase, for goodness' sake! Do you know how cool that is?! Oh well, I'm not going to think about it. Even though it's pretty perfect. Errgh!

I'm starting training in the Kilwin's candy store tonight at six. I think it'll be a fun job; I mean, no one is really pissy when they're ordering ice cream, right? People don't go, "oh, my wife left me, my dog died and I have irritable bowel syndrome; I think I'll go order some Rocky Road and verbally abuse whoever's behind the counter!" If things are that bad, they're gonna go to the supermarket on Federal Way that only sells alcohol, or maybe to one of the drive-thru liquor stores scattered through the metropolitan area. Yeah, hopefully the customers'll be nice. Because I'm nice, and people should be nice back, I think. Isn't that the way the world works? [ha! you probably think I'm on crack!]

Hopefully I'll think of a new layout for this page soon. I'm getting sick of this one, and I promised Robson I'd design something new, but I'm drawing a blank except for a stupid idea combining bunnies and homicide. What kind of messed-up theme is that?! I'm gonna go back to the sketch pad.
